With the launch of the Test and Trace app, many schools are asking visitors to use this before coming into buildings. To best support the NHS Test and Trace system for visitors, you can easily produce scannable QR codes for your reception from the GOV.UK website.
If you do need QR codes for visitors to your sites, these can be created at https://www.gov.uk/create-coronavirus-qr-poster.
Schools are generally supporting Test and Trace in other ways in the event of positive results within the staff and student body. We would recommend that your communities know that this is happening and have provided a Test and Trace privacy notice addendum to sit alongside your normal privacy notice on the website. This document can be downloaded here.
We feel this represents the situation for the majority of schools but please do make sure that it reflects your own local situation and legal basis.
