⚠️ Guidance for FOI Request: Incidents related to extremist ideology
We have received notifications from many of our schools and Trusts regarding an FOI request about the number of incidents related to extremist ideology in their School/Trust since 2022.
To support you in dealing with this request we have put together guidance which advises you of the steps you need to take. This includes response letter templates and a spreadsheet to help input the gathered data.

🏥 Guidance for Schools - School Age Immunisation Services (SAIS)
We have received queries from several of our schools and Trusts regarding the request for schools to share parent details with School Immunisation Services, sometimes these requests are to share such details via apps such as MAVIS (part of the NHS).
We would like to assure you that if you receive an email from your School Age Immunisation Service (SAIS) team there are no GDPR issues with the sharing of the information with the immunisation programme service. The lawful basis for sharing the information is Public Task – Article 6 (1)(e).

💻 Complaints Policy - Data Protection Complaints Process
The new Data Protection Complaints process that is now mandated by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 is expected to be ‘live’ for all organisations by Friday 19th June.
