About Us

Sonia has worked in the field of Data Protection since 2014. Sonia started her career in data protection within the public sector where she handled SARS and FOI requests. Sonia progressed her career in data protection by accepting a position with a global financial service provider. It is in this role Sonia was the first point of contact for all data privacy matters relating to employee data, and gained a wealth of knowledge on privacy laws in the UK and across the globe. Before joining our team, Sonia was the Data Protection Officer for a large Multi-Academy Trust. In this role, Sonia provided the Trust and their 40 academies with data protection support and guidance. Sonia has experience in delivering training to Data Protection Leads, including specific training on data protection topics such as DPIAs and SARs. Sonia has experience of liaising with the ICO including responding to an ICO audit. She also has experience of creating data protection related policies and privacy notices.

Sonia is passionate about data protection and uses her Law degree and wealth of data protection experience to ensure education providers are compliant with data protection laws.

Ben is a CIPP/E qualified Data Protection professional, acts as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) for schools, has led training across several regional networks, and participated in national panel events focused on data protection in schools.

Ben has worked across the Further Education and Secondary sectors including quality, training, systems, and project management roles, as both a middle and senior leader. He has worked on cross-college projects implementing and embedding quality and performance management systems including training middle and senior leaders on operational and strategic quality management. As a school senior leader, he oversaw the startup of a brand new sixth form as well as delivered a key role in taking a school out of Special Measures. His strategic leadership also drove improvements in pupil progress from below floor target to national average at Post-16. Ben has experience leading on educational technology as well as whole school careers strategy including embedded curriculum mapping and industry links. He applies his Prince2 Practitioner experience to these roles.

Ben is also still actively involved in working with young people through his commission in the Army Cadet Force as a Captain and his role as a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition assessor.

He is experienced in the GDPR and data protection, undertaking DPO work and staff training.

With a background in advocacy, consultancy and youth work, Zoe brings a thoughtful approach to her role as Administrative Assistant. Her experience spans a range of settings, from homelessness services, youth councils and libraries to education and consultancy work, where she has built a reputation for being systems-focused, approachable, and resourceful. Her work is rooted in a commitment to inclusion, research and communication, shaped by years of mentoring, frontline support and advocacy with young people.

As a youth advocate, she supported young people facing homelessness, abuse, unemployment and poverty, and consulted with schools, youth workers, advice professionals, and lawyers on how best to support them through legal and complex crises. This consultancy work led to the co-creation of an online toolkit with Citizens Advice Bureau and Bristol Law Centre. She also helped young people shape the services that affected them and supported them in designing and delivering community projects and small businesses in the UK and Kenya.

In addition to her administrative role, she tutors English as a foreign language and holds a degree in Linguistics, combining a love of language and a sharp eye for detail. She is passionate about making things run smoothly so others can thrive and brings curiosity and care to every task. Whether it’s a day-to-day process or a complex issue, Zoe is always keen to find a better way forward.

Daniel brings over 20 years of experience in delivering complex multi-agency solutions to challenging problems. By leveraging creativity, logic, and available resources, he consistently achieves sustainable results. His expertise spans Information Management, Subject Access, and security incidents, with a specialisation in handling complex Subject Access Requests and conducting high-profile investigations into sensitive situations.

As an experienced safeguarding lead, Daniel is dedicated to securing positive outcomes for young people and vulnerable adults. His extensive work with schools of all sizes has provided him with deep insights into safeguarding, special educational needs, and data protection. Daniel established and led Gloucestershire County Council’s DPO traded service for 6 years prior to joining SchoolPro TLC.

A well-known public speaker and trainer, Daniel infuses humour and passion into his sessions, making complex topics both accessible and engaging.

Jamie has been working as a teacher and a leader in schools for over 20 years. Alongside his work running SchoolPro Safety, he still teaches at a large secondary in Birmingham where he leads a big Outdoor Education department. He has a raft of Outdoor leadership qualifications including his Mountain Leader Award and Performance White Water Kayak Coach. He has used this opportunity to run or support over 500 visits and guide over 2000 students through their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Jamie has a Masters Degree in Outdoor Education studying risk management on school visits. He is a qualified First Responder and has used this to run Health and Safety and First Aid courses in a variety of settings for over 10 years. He currently supports his local primary school chairing their governing body.

In all he does, Jamie’s focus is providing the most enriching adventures and opportunities with the best outcomes while keeping the highest standards of safety for the young people involved.

Jess is a highly qualified educator with a Doctorate in Education from UCL IOE, Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment. With over 10 years of experience in secondary school senior leadership, largely in London, Jess has a deep understanding of curriculum development and implementation.

She is an experienced timetabler with an eye for cost saving strategies.

With over 20 years of experience in data protection and information management, Tanya has established a robust career in both the private and public sectors. Starting in the private sector, Tanya played a pivotal role in introducing and implementing the Data Protection Act 1998, delivering tailored training programs to UK and pan-European entities. In 2015, Tanya leveraged her experience with the 1998 Act to prepare the organisation for the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulations 2016.

Transitioning to the public sector, Tanya took on the role of Information Manager, where she implemented a cutting-edge records management system, enabling real-time file access without the need for archival retrieval. Tanya’s expertise extends to liaising with the Information Commissioner on high-profile data breaches, showcasing her ability to handle complex and sensitive issues, and responding to intricate SARs and FOI requests.

Passionate about research, Tanya thrives on exploring new areas of data protection and privacy, particularly when faced with challenging and thought-provoking cases.

Tanya enjoys the dynamic nature of working in the field of data protection, where no two days are the same.

Teri has a strong background in managing marketing and PR campaigns across a broad range of clients and industries. This is enhanced with experience managing complex projects, including a variety of events. These range from large-scale, multiple-location high profile events through to intimate celebrations.

Her strong communication skills and natural person focus are evident in all of her work. Complimentary to her communication and project experience, Teri has a varied track record in working with young people both within education settings and outside of them; from being a one-to-one and group mentor to tweens and teens, to time as a Key Stage 2 teaching assistant, and as a valued member of her own children’s school PTA.

She has a passion for making a difference to the overall experience of education and supporting both staff and children to thrive, and brings enthusiasm and freshness to all her work.

Falguni is an experienced data protection professional with over six years of expertise supporting organisations in the education sector and the motor industry. Throughout her career, she has provided practical, compliant, and sector-specific guidance to ensure clients meet their data protection obligations under the UK GDPR and other relevant legislation.

With a strong focus on client engagement, Falguni is skilled in building effective working relationships and delivering clear, actionable advice. Falguni takes particular interest in conducting data protection audits, which not only help organisations identify areas for improvement but also strengthen overall compliance frameworks.

Falguni’s approachable and thorough style ensures that clients receive consistent support tailored to their operational needs, promoting a culture of accountability and best practice in data handling.

Sian is a dedicated and versatile professional with a wealth of experience in Training and Development, Project Co-ordination, and Business Administration. Her strong interpersonal skills, combined with a creative and passionate approach, enable her to deliver great results in every project she undertakes.

She has been instrumental in designing, planning, and delivering impactful training programs across various educational settings, including City & Guilds and the NHS, bringing her a deep understanding of all stages of the learning process.  Her expertise in both one-to-one and group training, showcases her excellent communication skills and ability to connect with individuals at all levels, making her a true people person.

In more recent times, she has been broadening her knowledge and experience in the marketing world, with an enthusiasm for digital design and social media.

Above all, Sian is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Her proactive and visionary mindset, paired with her positive approach to life, brings energy and optimism to the team.
